How China won the tie

Li Shifeng defeated Lakshya Sen in three games to open the scoring. Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang then won the doubles against Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, taking the deciding game 26–24.

Ayush Shetty kept India in contention by beating Weng Hongyang. He Jiting and Ren Xiangyu secured the decisive third win for China against Hariharan Amsakarunan and M.R. Arjun. H.S. Prannoy beat Lu Guangzu in the final singles, leaving the overall result at 3–2.
