18 October 2020: two Super Overs in Dubai

Mumbai and Punjab each made 176/6 in their regular innings. The first Super Over also ended level, with Punjab on 5/2 and Mumbai on 5/1. In the second, Mumbai made 11/1 before Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal completed Punjab’s chase.

22 April 2023: Arshdeep seals Punjab’s defence

Punjab posted 214/8 at Wankhede, helped by Sam Curran’s 55 from 29 balls. Mumbai’s chase included 67 from Cameron Green and 57 from Suryakumar Yadav, but Arshdeep’s four wickets helped secure a 13-run win.

His final over was the decisive passage: with Mumbai needing 16, he conceded only two runs and bowled Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera. Official April 2023 match report.

3 May 2023: Mumbai complete the chase in Mohali

Punjab again set Mumbai a target of 215, this time after reaching 214/3. Liam Livingstone’s unbeaten 82 and Jitesh Sharma’s unbeaten 49 built that total.

1 June 2025: Punjab win Qualifier 2

Mumbai made 203/6, but Punjab reached 207/5 to advance to the final. Shreyas Iyer’s unbeaten 87 from 41 balls led the chase, with Nehal Wadhera contributing 48.
